Climate/Terrain: What To Pack

Mongolia has seasonal weather changes: the summer is usually very short and winters are long and cold

November to March: pack warm clothing and know that the temperature will dip below -22 degrees Fahrenheit. High temperature: 32 degrees temperature

April to May,September to October have similar temperatures:16 and 62 degrees Fahrenheit

June to August are warm: ranging between 45 in the evenings, 80 during hottest part of the day

Mongolia averages about 15 to 18 inches of rain per year: expect little to no rain!

​This is because of Mongolia's location in relation to the Gobi Desert
-
The country suffered a drought between 2000 and 2010. In that time span, there was about 10 inches of rain combined.
