Meat is eaten with most meals because of the abundance of sheep and goat in the whole country, especially rural areas. If you are in the city, expect to use a fork, spoon, and knife for most meals, although some Mongolians use chopsticks. Some rural areas sit on a mat on the floor to eat, some have short stools to sit on. In urban areas, tables, and chairs are the most common.
